Every fall our outreach department invites you to show the love of Christ in personal and meaningful ways. Join us by supporting various opportunities in A Season of Giving.
Missionary Christmas Blessing
An annual project in which we ask all of our supported missionaries around the world what they and their kids would like for Christmas, and then ask the congregation to purchase the gifts. Once the gifts are returned, we ship them around the world, sending our missionaries a tangible expression of encouragement and a taste of home.

Christmas for Our Troops
Share the love of Christ with our Troops this Christmas. Signed cards, photos, and letters are top on the
list of items needed for our care packages. Please bring your items to the Troops table in the Atrium Commons Sundays in October and November 2. Prayer lists are available as well as an opportunity to add a loved one serving in the military to our list. Packing days are Sunday, October 26 and November 2 from 2-5 p.m. in the commons.

Urban Church Thanksgiving Outreach
Cherry Hills is partnering with some of our urban church and ministries partners to provide Thanksgiving dinners for the poor in their communities. Donations of canned food are needed to provide Thanksgiving dinner for approximately 1500 families. The food provided will give families the opportunity to prepare a meal in their own home. Thanksgiving dinner for a family of four costs $35.
Non-perishable canned food items needed:
- Canned cranberries
- Canned green beans, peas or corn
- Canned yams
- Canned fruit
- Jell-O
- Stuffing and gravy mixes
Collection bins are in throughout the church through November 18. You can also support this outreach by donate money or grocery store gift certificates to buy food items. Please note "Thanksgiving Outreach" on your check.
Volunteers
Volunteers are also needed to sort and box food items.
